If you follow me on TikTok. I made this yummy strawberry sauce, it’s perfect to use as a topping on your favorite dessert, a breakfast treat like french toast. I’m a huge fan of the store-bought strawberry sauce, however, I wanted a healthier alternative. This recipe is super easy to make, and it doesn’t require too many ingredients. I also love that this recipe does not require any refined sugars. You can also make this recipe in advance, it stores well in the refrigerator for a few days in a mason jar.

INGREDIENTS- 16 ounces Strawberries sliced
- 1/2 freshly juiced lemon
- 1/4 maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Spring Water
INSTRUCTIONS
- First add the maple syrup, lemon, water & a small pot on medium heat and mix well.
- Add sliced strawberries (that were cut into 1/4 slices)
- Bring to a boil on medium heat, and reduce to simmer until it's to your desired consistency (I prefer to leave a few chunks.
