Last year I started researching various oils that had multiple skincare uses, and I fell in love with apricot oil. Not only does it not leave my combination skin feeling oils. It actually leaves it feeling motorized and dewy. It’s been almost a year since I started using this technique, and I thought it would be cool to share with you how I remove my makeup with apricot oil.
Benefits of Apricot Oil
- Prevents dryness
- Moisturizes the Skin
- Treats Acne
- Prevents Inflammation
Diminishes the appearance of...
dark circles
fine lines, and puffiness.
What you'll need
Step 1: Pour a dime to a quarter size amount of apricot oil on your clean fingers
Step 2: Close your eyes and gently spread the oil over your eyelids and lashes and all-around your eye area. You should have just enough oil to spread around your face. You will start to feel your makeup come off.
Step 3: Massage the apricot oil into your skin in a circular motion all over your face to remove other makeup. Don’t hesitate to go around your face several times in a circular motion. In the event that the oil goes in your eyes, don’t panic. It won't hurt and will wash away easily.
Step 4: I prefer to use a muslin cloth for my face. I warm the cloth and remove the makeup with the cloth.
You’re done! Your skin will start to feel dewy, and moisturized.
