Have you attended BabyPalooza New York City before?
These last couple of weeks have been super busy with appointments and everyday life. Michael officially started his summer job, and I was able to attend one of my favorite blogger events last week. BabyPalooza and SweetSuite are one of my favorite blogger events to attend. I learned about them three years ago while attending Blogher. I applied to attend and it was less than a month away. I'm so happy that I did! It's always an amazing time, and I get to connect with so many amazing influencers and brands. I will be sharing a recap later this week, stay tuned!

Around this time almost three years ago. I was online and reading a blog post and I noticed an image on the right toolbar promoting an event. This was the first time that I ever heard about this event, and I was intrigued to learn more. I did a quick google search and learned that the Summit was taking place that fall in Chicago. I read a little more about the event, and I was on a mission to attend it that year. I only had a few months to plan, and I didn't know anyone who had attended the event in the past and who was attending the event that year. I didn't allow that to stop me though. Attending The Moms Meet WOW Summit is one of the best decisions I could have made as a blogger/influencer and mom. I met so many amazing moms and connected with so many amazing brands that I still use to date. I didn't know anyone and everyone welcomed me with opened arms. It was truly one of the best blogger experiences EVER! Below, I'm sharing a full breakdown of the event. I can't wait to see you there!

If you would have asked me this time last year if I had any plans on visiting Orlando, my answer would have been no. However, I would love to! Our trip to Florida was probably two to three months in the works. I know when most people visit Disney, unless they're a local or have a season pass. They typically reserve more months for the planning process. Originally when we knew we were going on this trip. We knew Michael would not be attending due to football camp starting that same weekend we were living. Unfortunately, two weeks prior to leaving, he broke his collarbone. He still opted not to go with us. I felt really bad and was hoping that he would change his mind. The day before we were leaving for Florida, an opportunity came for him with summer employment. Which required him to be in attendance that following week. Which if he went with us, he would not have been able to participate this summer...
I'm so happy that we decided to take the drive. It's the longest and most memorable trip that I've ever been on. It was so nice to visit again, though our kiddos didn't make the trip. It made the perfect couples getaway. Below, I'm sharing a few pictures from our visit to Epcot and Magic Kindom.
Magic Kingdom & Epcot
I had the most amazing time visiting Orlando. We originally went to visit the Mister's family and it was so nice to be back there. This was only my second time visiting Florida in June. The first time was for BlogHer a couple of years ago. It is always so much to see and do in Orlando. I knew it was going to be a lot warmer than what I'm used to in Connecticut. So my goal was to dress as comfortable as possible. I didn't do as many Outfit changes as I expected. Typically, when we were outside, we were gone for the entire day and called it a night in the evenings. Below are a couple of the dresses I wore. You can read more about them by clicking the link.

Growing up, I wasn't the biggest fan of watermelon. It wasn't actually until I started my weight loss journey and learned that watermelon was low in calorie that I was hooked. When I transitioned into a healthier lifestyle. That also meant that I was drinking soda, and juice on a daily basis. Honest;y, I had cut all of those items out during my journey. However, I still wanted a healthier alternative. During watermelon season, it's so cost-effective to make it homemade watermelon juice. Especially if you have a high-powered blender like a Vitamix. I can typically get several bottles of juice from one watermelon, and since I have it already on hand. I typically create new concoctions with my watermelon juice as a base. Below, I'm sharing some of my favorite watermelon beverages. All of these are nonalcoholic and do not include any unrefined sweeteners.
