WOW! My mini-me is officially a tween today (2/27/03). I cannot believe TEN years has gone by so fast. I am truly thankful to have such a wonderful young man in my life…it feels like just yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital…~~I will spare you guys a long drown out post.~~ I just wanted to wish the young man who has inspired me to do and be better in life, a Happy Birthday!

I wanted to share with you guys a glimpse of my V-Day décor and treats I made. I purchase mostly all of the décor last year at Target when everything was on sale (after V-Day last year). The Mr. and I did not do much this year… I really just wanted to create a kid and dog friendly V-Day décor. I really would have liked to use rose petals. However, Mr. Teddy (our dog) would have had a field day, playing with the silk petals.

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope everyone had an amazing Valentine’s Day. I was so excited to finally be able to use the V-day items I purchased last year. This weekend is going to be pretty low key. My mini-me has a basketball this weekend, which I am really excited about. I have nominated myself to be team mom “the coached don’t know it yet though, LOL”. I also have a natural hair event to attend over the weekend, which I am very excited to attend!!! I look forward to sharing with you guys a glance of my V-day décor and sweet. I finally made heart shaped sugar cookies with red sprinkles (trust me when I say I am going to master decorating sugar cookies, just watch and see) ...

Well, enough about me, I would love to know how everyone is doing.

Happy Friday!

It’s snowing in my state so my Friday has been pretty low Key. Due to the inclement weather Mini-me’s basketball game was canceled for tomorrow due. So hopefully we will have enough snow to bring the kids sliding. I have taken advantage of being snowed in, by getting an early start on spring cleaning, which has been really fun getting rid of stuff that has no purpose in our home any longer.

Early this week my local consignment store had a dollar event which was really fun. I was able to score a couple of really cute items for the house…Last Sunday was bitter sweet with football being officially over for this season…I did enjoy the football game with the Beyonce performance which was a bonus!

Well, enough about me, I would love to know how everyone is doing.

I wanted to share with you guys My Birthday Pink nails with a Champagne (heart) colored rhinestone . My son purchased this nail polish for me for my Birthday. If you did not know already, I love Pink, all shades of PINK! I was so happy to add this polish to my collection :)this nail polish does not have a name, but the brand is Donna Michelle. Happy Friday!

Thank you everyone for your Birthday Wishes Last Week! I had a surprise brunch courtesy of my husband (Which I am truly grateful for). Unfortunately I did not get the chance to attend the book club last Sunday. My sister pipe burst in her basement (New England Weather) on a better note, I did get the opportunity to attend the annual indoor tag sale that my Community Center has every year. I was on the fence about going the day of the event. But, I am truly happy that I did go. I found the cutest crystal cut glasses, and some other nick, knacks (will do a post about my finds) I am happy to say that I did get a chance to make my birthday cupcakes (pictured above) they were amazing!!!!! They were so good The Mr. Requested another batch the next day.
Also, it is officially the Love Month. YAY I can’t believe mini will be turning ten at the end of the month… Boy how time Flies. Any who, the Super Bowl is on Sunday (happy dance) I love watching the commercials!!!! Oh, yeah and the game, LOL and of course the Beyonce performance. Other than that, I have a few” mommy and friends” dates to attend. I may try making some super bowl treats (I’m sure my family will love that idea) Other than that my weekend will be pretty low key. Mini me has a game tomorrow, and I’m sure I’ll be watching basketball. Enough about me...
