OK, so please do not let this innocent face fool you. This dog is plan out crazy (in a good way) it’s like he is a little person. Every time we come home, he is looking out the window and then runs to the front door and just waits for us to open the door. He truly has captured our hearts. He is also the true definition of a lapdog. He will just sit in our laps or lay in the bed with us all day. He is extremely friendly to everyone as well.

He does have the typical biting our shoes problem (mainly my heels). Other than that he has settled in our home pretty well…

I haven’t made any clothing for him lately; our winters are really cold so I will probably start preparing clothing for him late summer for the fall/winter. It is pretty good about wearing clothing as well.

Anywho, I just wanted to give an update about our fur baby. If you would like to share any sites that D.I.Y pet items, please feel free to share in the comment box.

Hello!

Ok, so I’m determined to succeed with my garden this year. Last year was the first time I actually attempted a garden in my yard (in ground), and it was a total fail. Everything grew at a miniature size. Have you ever seen a grape size tomato that is supposed to be full size tomato? Yes, just imagine that! The sad part about is that the Mister would come home with tomatoes from other people’s garden that was ten times the size of my vegetables…Well, this year I’m back to using containers. I still have no idea what I’m doing. I know, I know… with Blogs, Pinterest, Google and YouTube. I still feel as if I have no idea what I am doing…I started my garden late May early June (In New England a lot of people start Memorial weekend, or so I was told.) I am planting this year

Tomatoes, green peppers, cauliflower and lettuce (I purchased the plants, and did not start with seeds)

I will try to keep you guys updated… I am just being honest, if my garden looks a hot mess I will not be posting pictures online, LOL anywho…

Hey!

While at a dentist appointment, I saw this recipe, and just knew I had to try it. My family and I are trying to get in the habit of eating more meatless meals. So that means I am on a mission to find the BEST vegetarian recipes!! My little guy was not so thrilled about this meal, so I will have a meal that he enjoys already prepared for him.

Anywho, how is everything?

Recipe Adapted: Via

Ingredients:

4 teaspoons ground cumin
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
8 soft corn tortillas (6-inch)
1 cup white rice, cooked and tossed with chopped cilantro
1 15 ounce can black beans, drained, rinsed and warmed
1 pound white mushrooms, sliced
1/4cup EVOO, plus more for greasing
2 cups shredded Monterey jack
Salt
1 large white onion, chopped (3 cups)
2 tablespoons chili powder

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees . In a skillet, cook the mushrooms in 2 tbsp. EVOO over medium heat, stirring, until golden, about 15 minutes. Toss in a bowl with 1 1/2 cups cheese; season.
In the skillet, cook the onion in the remaining EVOO over medium heat, stirring, until golden, 6 to 8 minutes. Add spices; cook for 2 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water. Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt.
In a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish, spread a third of the sauce. Coat tortillas in some sauce. Spread 1/3 cup mushroom filling down the centers; roll up and transfer to dish. Top with remaining sauce and cheese. Bake until bubbly, 15 minutes. Serve with rice and beans.

Hey!

I wanted to share with you guys some pictures from my little guy school field trip. We went to the Basketball Hall of Fame. I haven’t been there since I was a little girl; I had no idea I was going to have so much fun today… Time flew by! The bad part about it is that I do not even remember this place being so fun. I really did not know what to expect from this trip. My little guy loves basket ball (all sports) so I was really looking forward to seeing a smile on his face from seeing all of the basket ball legends. Guess what? I forgot to bring my Canon, I was super sad about not having my bff with me. My pictures would have really come out in such better quality. Anywho, below is a glance of our day.
