Here's my submission for Project 52. The picture above and below were taken by me at Zion National Park in Utah.
I would love to have a white/ gold or even silver holiday decor theme. This year we are going with our New York Giants Red, White, Blue, and Silver color scheme again this year. Sometimes I wish our home had a "great room" you know. One of those picture perfect rooms that no one is really allowed to sit in? or even a family room so no one would pay attention to our actual living room. A girl can, dream, right? Anywho, I found these items while shopping at my local Joann's craft store. And, I'm in love with the items below (and have my eyes on them.
Anywho, do you have a Holiday decor theme or color scheme in your home?
Here's my submission for Project 52. I'm not really sure what I did right to capture this beautiful Bokeh picture. However, I kept on snapping until I got it right. I was, however going to watch a tutorial on it if I could not figure it out. I used my Canon T3 (not the misters T3i) the lense is the Canon 50mm
The holiday season is upon us and for me this is my actually my favorite time of the year. Holiday season at one point was a very stress time of year for me. It's not as if money just appeared right? However, I learned very fast about strategically planning for the Holiday season. I also learned very fast about knowing my limit and letting people know upfront that I would not be purchasing gifts for them. On a better note, I have been using some great resources to help me save.
Barter services- I am not the biggest fan of bartering services. However, if you're good at baking and you have a friend good at crafts. Why not barter services, you bake, they craft.
Ebates- Ebates is one of my new favorite apps/websites. I learned about Ebates a couple of years ago... I'm not sure why I was so hesitant about to trying Ebates. I am was not so great at using it at first. However, I'm getting better. I also ask my self prior to going to the stores would it be cheaper for me to purchase the items online or "ship to store" if I'm going to be in that area?
Hip2Save- I try my best to check this site daily. I actually found a London fog winter coat for my son for under $20 the original price was $80. I can not be everywhere all the time so Hip2save is my place where I can learn about great deals. I've been using this site as a resource for over 3 + years now.
Ibotta- I am still getting into the groove of using this app. I learned about this app last year. You have to remember to upload the receipt... If I can save a dollar here or there to make sure my budget is in line.
I know this is a super short list. However, you will be surprised at how fast your savings start to add up.

It's is officially Red Cup season. You guys know my beverage of choice at Starbuck is a Chai Latte with Soy Milk. I even have my mini down for the action. Of course, he is only allowed to drink hot chocolate.
Anywho, are you a Starbucks red cup fan? Any Starbucks copycat recipes?
If you follow me on Snapchat or Instagram. You know I am currently in love with my version of eggs benedict. I watched a YouTube video and decided that I would give it a try. The only issue is that I am not a fan at all of runny eggs. It's just not my jam. I decided to poach egg whites and bam. My favorite breakfast meal was created. Okay, so I know the traditional eggs benedict includes ham. However, you guys know I do not eat meat...
Anywho, I even have the Mister hooked. I have now decided to get a little fancy and add avocado and it taste simply tasty. This paired with my Chai Latte and my mornings are super awesome.
Anywo, Any new breakfast treats?
Here's my submission for this week's Project 52. I purchased these super cute napkins from Hobby Lobby. Which I have to say is one of my new favorite craft stores... I am super Thankful for them coming to my state. I feel a little spoiled. I have several craft stores within my favorite shopping area. I am super Thankful for all the continued support for this little ole blog. I can't believe that I have been blogging for over three years now. Where does time go? I am not going to make any promises that I am going to blog more. I truly believe that actions speak louder than words. I will say that I am so Thankful for you guys, though.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend in Connecticut. We really could not have asked for better weather to be outdoors especially in Connecticut. Unfortunately, UCONN's record with 5:5 and their opponents were undefeated. My little guy was not thrilled at all about seeing this game at first. He explained to me that there was a high chance of this game being a blowout. None the less, I explained to my son that we will still be at the game cheering our team on.
I am so happy that we did decide to attend. The game was so much fun, it wasn't a blowout, and UCONN won! YAY!
Here's my submission for Project 52 for this week. I rarely every capture pictures at night. They usually come out pretty horrible. I managed to snap a couple of pictures during a double date with the newlyweds (my sister and her husband).
(the guys)
(my attire)
We had so much fun this night. Looking forward to the next double date.
I know, I know, what you're thinking... I decided to keep with the tradition and share my Wish List for this year. It's called a "Wish List" right. I really do not know what type of Canon I want, However, a new one would greatly be appreciated if it's in the horizons. Mainly because the Mister usually has his, and my camera does not have the flip screen which is a huge time saver when recording YouTube videos. I may just start using my cell phone. Of course, I would sell my T3 if I was to receive a new camera. This is more so of a need and not a want...
Although I do love my IMac, I would really want to give her a little sister to play with. All jokes aside, I have been going back and forth about the possibility of purchasing a MacBook Pro. However, I haven't had my IMac for a year yet. Even though I prefer to work on my IMac. There are times I could really use a laptop to get work done, and I'm tired of wasting money on "Good Deal" computers **sigh**.
The Loubintons are just super sexy and need to be added to my wardrobe and the LV is more so an investment **wink**.
Anywho, this is just a "Wish List" I really have everything I want. I really can't think of anything else I might want.
Do you have a Wish List blog post? Leave the link below

Here's my submission for this week. I took this picture while going for my morning walk. I also included some pictures below that I love too.
As you guys know I am the Queen of DIY in my head. LOL. No, seriously. I really truly enjoy DIY projects. I still do them. However, they just don't make it to the Blog
When my new baby arrived yesterday. I had a bit of work that needed to be done first before I could play with her... Let's just say that I was up all night trying to figure things out once I could. I even cut my mat due to the image not being placed right on my screen. After many trials and errors. I decided not to give up and I finally have a successful project to share with you guys. I purchased this mug at my local Thrift Store. I believe mix match 5 for $1. I actually love how it came out, and I look forward to actually creating my own images.
Anywho, if you have any tips, suggestions, links please share them below. I don't want this machine to collect dust.
It is almost that time for us to put our Christmas tree up. (we put our Christmas tree up a day after Thanksgiving here ). I am trying to get the Mister to consider the idea of putting our tree up after Halloween and he's not really trying to hear it. Plus, I'm trying to figure out where we're going to put the tree in our little home anyways.
Anywho, if you follow me on SnapChat (SimplyTasheena). I went to Target yesterday and I am in love with their wrapping paper and decor. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with a color scheme or what. However, I went on Pinterest and I am loving the Christmass trees below.

Ok, so I was one of those people waiting for the FedEx person to come with my new bestie. No, I'm not one of those people who purchase a new iPhone every time it comes out. (nothing is wrong with it if that's your style) This is actually my second iPhone. I was never was one of those people who rush to get a new phone. I actually remember the day. I was able to upgrade ever year, and never really took advantage of the opportunity. (sigh)
Anywho, here is my submission for week 52.
If I could get around to making my "Fall Favorites" video. This would defiantly be included. I am super in love with Chai Latte's. I made the Tazo concentrate version for the first time this month. However, I usually try to keep it pretty simple and just use the Chai Tea bags + sugar. Then use the milk method here. To be honest, I purchased the immersion blender and really had no idea how much it would get used. ( I was starting to actually have buyers remorse) So you know I was beyond excited when I found a recipe that would have me using it daily...
It's something about having a Chai Latte that has me feeling Fancy. (slowing putting pinky down)
Anywho, do you have any fall favorite drinks?
