The holiday season is upon us and for me this is my actually my favorite time of the year. Holiday season at one point was a very stress time of year for me. It's not as if money just appeared right? However, I learned very fast about strategically planning for the Holiday season. I also learned very fast about knowing my limit and letting people know upfront that I would not be purchasing gifts for them. On a better note, I have been using some great resources to help me save.
Barter services- I am not the biggest fan of bartering services. However, if you're good at baking and you have a friend good at crafts. Why not barter services, you bake, they craft.
Ebates- Ebates is one of my new favorite apps/websites. I learned about Ebates a couple of years ago... I'm not sure why I was so hesitant about to trying Ebates. I am was not so great at using it at first. However, I'm getting better. I also ask my self prior to going to the stores would it be cheaper for me to purchase the items online or "ship to store" if I'm going to be in that area?
Hip2Save- I try my best to check this site daily. I actually found a London fog winter coat for my son for under $20 the original price was $80. I can not be everywhere all the time so Hip2save is my place where I can learn about great deals. I've been using this site as a resource for over 3 + years now.
Ibotta- I am still getting into the groove of using this app. I learned about this app last year. You have to remember to upload the receipt... If I can save a dollar here or there to make sure my budget is in line.
I know this is a super short list. However, you will be surprised at how fast your savings start to add up.
