I actually prefer "girlie" drinks as I like to call them. I actually have a ton of drink recipes that I hope to share with you guys. I'm not a huge drinker. However, I love creating pretty cocktails for my guests. Plus, they make the best conversational pieces. I typically get “How did you make this”

From this list, Coquito Recipe (Puerto Rican Egg Nog) is one of my favorites. I'm a huge fan of eggnog and I've been making Coquito for years. It's such a nice treat to have during the holidays. This is one of my family favorites as well. Because I usually only make it during the winter months. Not sure why we could defiantly enjoy this all year long. I have to change that!

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is having an amazing day so far. As I was creating content for this week. I thought that I would share 4 Super Weight Loss Drinks to Help Shed The Pounds Fast! A lot of you know, I recently lost thirty pounds, you can read all about it here. This could not have happened without consistency, great eating habits, and disciple. A lot of these beverages I have on a daily basis. If you follow me on social media. You see the same ole on my Snap chat and IG stories. I post what I eat to show you guys that you have to be consistent in what you do there is no magic pill.

I will say that these drinks also have amazing health benefits if you're not trying to lose weight. Though I'm not trying to lose any more weight I still drink these beverages because they have immune boosting properties, assist with keeping me regular and let's not forget about detoxing my body. Yes, Please!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a pretty epic weekend! How was your first week of the new year? How did you do with your New Years Resolutions? Last Thursday we had a snow storm and was snowed in on Thursday and school was canceled on Friday as well. Our weekend was pretty low key.
Did you guys catch any of the Target 90% off Christmas clearance finds? I found some fabulous items. I went to two different stores and found different items at both. I also scored this fabulous marble tray for only $2.49. I posted a haul video on my YouTube channel. I've included the video below for your convenience.

Our daughter is headed back to college this week which is bittersweet. We're surely going to miss her. I hope to try a new recipe for the family this week. I did create a new recipe last week which they loved. However, I forgot to take pictures of it.

To be honest, prior to attending this show I never heard of Medieval Times. Which is really a shame because they have locations all over the United States. When I attended the show, I really wasn't sure what to expect. I did some research and found that this would be something that my family would love, especially while visiting family in Florida.

I love that they have a vegetarian option with their food options which is really sweet because a lot of places don't offer a hearty option. Seeing how they offer great portion sizes for all of the other attendees.

Without giving too much of the show away. I loved the experience. It was so out of the norm of what I usually do. It was so exciting and adventurous. It was like you really didn't know what was going to happen next.

I can honestly say that Medieval Times is appropriate for all age ranges. While at the show, I enjoyed every minute of it and couldn't wait to see what was next.

As you guys know I consider myself a tea enthusiast. I honestly believe that not all teas are created equal. A lot of them should not even be put on the petal that they're on. Like me, my sister loves trying out different coffee places especially while visiting New York. While out and about in New York. We noticed that this location had recently opened and thought why not give it a try. I was so happy to see that they served tea as well. What I love about this Birch Coffee is that the location is really inviting and intimate. I also love that they sell their own cold brewed coffee which is pretty own.

The employee that was helping me was super sweet with assisting me with selecting a tea flavor. She was also very knowledgeable as well. Which always makes the experience less daunting when you're trying to decide on the perfect tea to indulge in. The scenery of the location really stayed true to the brand which was really cool.

My sister loved the espresso that she orded and the tea that I orded was so flavorful. I honestly can't wait until my next visit to NY to try another one of their amazing teas.

Last week I did a blog post on the Top 10 Recipes on Simply Tasheena.com for 2017. I thought it would be great to mention my Top 6 Vegan recipes of 2017 as well. For those who have been following my blog for a while. I embarked on a weight loss journey back at the end of March of 2017. I honestly didn't know what would come from the journey. I'm so used to starting a diet, reaching the goal and going back to my old habits and gaining all of the weight back.
However, this time around was really different. I learned my body and found recipes that I truly love. I started to incorporate the recipes into the content of my blog not really knowing how my readers would react to it and I'm so Thankful for all of the love. As many of you know, I meal prep for my family as well as myself and it's so nice to find recipes that I absolutely love and that my family loves too. I still haven't shared my famous vegan burger. Hopefully, I'll start measuring the ingredients and share that recipe with you guys soon. It's so yummy and my meat eaters actually prefer having it over a regular burger.

Happy New Year!

It's new to get back into the swing of things. Michael is heading back to school tomorrow as long as weather permits and our girle will be heading back to college within the next couple of weeks.
I honestly slept in all last week which I really get the chance to do. Let me just be honest, sleeping in for me is staying in bed until 9:00 am. I am an early riser by nature so at times it's difficult for me to sleep in no matter how late I stay up.
One of the meals on this weeks' meal plan that I've never shared with you guys is a crockpot chicken and stuffing. One of the reasons that I've never shared this recipe is because it's really hard for me to get a good picture of the finished product. To be honest, it really doesn't look as good as it tastes and Michael has requested this meal and said that “I'm slipping” for not making it as often as I used to. Just warning you guys that it doesn't look Insta delicious but it is. Just me, I've been making it for years. I also tested out another recipe a couple of weeks ago that my family loved and I can't wait to share that with you guys too.

Anywho, enough about me, any plans for the new year?
