30 Minute Meal or Less!

by - 1/17/2012 07:32:00 PM

Last week I decided to try this new recipe out. This recipe is super easy and could be made in 30 minutes or less. I opted to make my own dough however, this meal would be ideal for crescent rolls (yummy). I also opted to use canned chicken verses making homemade chicken (are you seeing how easy this meal could potentially be? Well, trust me it is! My family and I loved this recipe and I know yours will too!

Recipe Adapted from: via

  • 1 pack of ranch dressing (powder pack)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 pkg cream cheese (8oz)
  • 1 pkg crescent rolls (6 ct) or dough of your choice
  • 2 Cans of Chicken or two Shredded chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 Cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 Cup grated Monterey Jack or Italian five cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 stick melted butter
Combine chicken, cheeses, salt and pepper (garlic) and ranch powder. Spoon onto crescents (or dough). Roll them up making sure they are sealed around the chicken mixture. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes.
Enjoy!

  3. I call these chicken rolls...but I don't have the ranch powder, but throw in chopped onions and mushrooms into the batter to put in the middle instead. But I'm going to have to experiment with packets like you did. That sounds yummy.

I have to try it with the onions and mushrooms, that sounds yummy. The ranch packet gives it a little more flavor.
