Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas Review
The Beach Tower
I read so many negative reviews regarding this tower on the booking site. So my guard was “all the way up”. The room was very simple. Beachy feel. Our room was well kept. I didn't see anything regarding the wallpaper peeling or items broken around the room. We were upgraded upon arriving, and the view was absolutely breathtaking from our room. I mean breathtaking. I would defiantly stay at the Beach tower again. However, I would like to visit and stay at the other towers as well. The other towers are closest to the water slides. Also, the Beach Tower rooms do not include a microwave. You also receive bottled water vouchers with your stay which were pretty cool. I did visit the other Towers and it is a clear difference in the style. I noticed that the other towers were more luxurious feel in the lobby areas. Again, the Beach tower had a beach theme to me. Which I was fine with.
(At the Resort)
The Grounds
As prior stated the grounds were well kept. The employees at the resort were always cleaning. They were not in my way. Meaning as I was walking I didn't have to keep on saying "excuse me". They were out of my walking path before I even got next to them and they were very polite and helpful, always.
Food Selection
I noticed that there was not a huge selection of Bahamian Cuisine. For some that may be a good thing and for others it may not. I really did love the Marina connected to the resort which gave a pretty good selection of familiar foods. I did not have any issues with the food. Trust me, I would tell you! I am really picky about where I eat at.
(Resort Beach)
Beaches
The beaches on the resort were clean. Please note that the water rides close I believe before 8pm. The water was so clean and dreamy. I could spend all day looking at the beaches.
(Lazy river)
Safety
I honestly felt super safe at the Resort. The staff/securtiy were really nice. In order to enter the resort area you have to have a wristband. They always check to ensure that everyone had one on.
What To Do?
There are tons of things to do while at the resort. You really do not have to leave off the resort unless you want to. They have everything from snorkeling, to jet skiing... Plus a teen club too. Trust me, your family will not get bored. You could honestly spend more of your time on the water rides. It's so beautiful and so much fun. Check out my post here for more ideas.
Overall
The Atlanis Bahamas is just one of those places that you just don't visit once. I'm looking forward to my next trip to the Bahamas. If you were going to ask if I would go again. Yes!!! The entire process was just so simple. From the airport to the resort and back to the airport was very stress-free. My son loved every minute at this resort. He honestly didn't want to leave. He always talks about the Atlantis to his friends and family. If you're thinking about planning a family or couples trip and you're on the fence if you should book the Atlantis. Book it and Thank me later!
Pin for later

ReplyDeleteWow this looks beautiful, I've seen this place a hundred times before yet I've never read a review. Your photos are lovely hopefully one day I will get to see it in real life.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I haven't been to the Bahamas but I have always wanted to go. The lazy river would be my favorite spot! Glad you enjoyed your vacay and thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of going to a resort. Especially if it's all-inclusive! :) I do find that most people who stay in the resort are less likely to go out of it and explore the surrounding areas. For me, I prefer a balance of both!
ReplyDeleteThe Bahamas are terrific for vacation. I have been to Nassau and Long Island. The water is gorgeous and the people are so nice. I have not stayed at Atlantis, but have been thinking about it. Thank you for the review.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! the only atlantis Ive been to was in Dubai. I love the iconic building
ReplyDeleteIt's my goal to visit with both kiddos. I know they'll love it!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine vacationed there a few years ago. It's more beautiful than she explained. I may have to add Atlantis to my travel list.

ReplyDeleteThis looks like you had an amazing time there. It all looks so very beautiful. I can understand wanting to go more than once.
ReplyDeleteJust stunning .The colour of the water made me sigh. You must have had an amazing time.Resort having all water activities must have been great for your son.
ReplyDeleteYou have such nice photos. I love all the pictures. And I do think that is odd about the vendors. Usually, there sole existence oi to make money selling and they almost harass. So that is good. Made for a pleasant experience.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a beautiful place! I would love to have the chance to visit one day.
ReplyDeleteI've never been there before but it looks great! I have to add it to my ever growing list of places I want to travel to.
