This past weekend I went to a few parks, and I was so insipred by all of the picnics I seen people having. As I've mentioned in the past. One of my gavorite places to have a picnic at is at our local rose gareden. Schedule
I love going on picnics on a whim, however, if you truly love going on picnics why not schedule them into your life? It makes it so much easier if you go on a date with your spouse or have a picnic with your besties. Schedule the time to really have a well-thought-out expeiernece.

Plan
Why not plan for the ultimate experience, I know, a picnic doesn't have to be this in-depth. However, with everything going on. It's really nice to have something to plan, even if it's on a small scale. Planing can be as simple as what you're going to wear or if you're going to go with a theme.

Location
What I love about picnics is that you really could have them pretty much anywhere I have several places in my state that I love to visit however even having a picnic in your backyard really is fun as well. So as you’re looking for the perfect spot to have your picnic if you have a hard time finding a perfect location what about your backyard what about a local park what about a local flower a rose garden. Ask around, your friends and coworkers might have a place that they've enjoyed visiting.

Food
Food is one of the most important parts of any picnic however this doesn’t have to be a stressful situation. You can easily go to your local grocery store and pick up the items that you need prior to going to your picnic destinations. There are times where everything is homemade and there are also times where the Mr. and I will pick up a bottle of wine and our favorite Chinese food and go to our favorite destination and enjoy a meal. Don’t feel like you have to create the perfect meal and spend hours in the kitchen, decide on what you would love to have to eat, and then work around that.

Budget
What I love is that about our picnics is that we typically create a budget for them. This is something that you don’t necessarily have to do however we love finding creative ways to have budget-friendly date nights. It’s really amazing we surprise each other each time with how well we're able to stay under budget. Create a budget and a list of the items that you want and need in order to execute the perfect picnic for you and your and spouse or guest.

Essentials
Is also very important to have your essentials like your picnic basket blanket and of course items like hand sanitizer. Make sure that you have your essentials on hand and in a designated spot so if you do decide to go on a picnic on a whim, you know where everything is located at I typically will have a blanket in my trunk in the spring and summer months just in case we decide to go to a local park or beach and have a picnic.

Okay, the first day of spring isn’t officially until March 20, 2021. However, a girl can dream right?! Like many, I’m over the cold. Though, I’m a winter baby. I long for the spring and summer months. Below, I’m sharing things I’m looking forward to this spring.

It's officially spring, and like most people, these last couple of weeks have been crazy for me. I actually started working on my spring cleaning, and it was actually looking hopeful. I have so many projects that I would like to complete and work on this year. I've already started working on my back hallway, and kitchen, as far as decluttering, and cleaning in those spaces. I would love to redo our guest bedroom, and that has been on the list for a couple of years now, and work on our bathroom counters. Of course, I'll keep you guys updated on what's going on.

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. Living in a State that cold during the winter and fall months is nice when spring arrives it allows you to really detox your mind body and home. It’s so easy to have clutter due to not being as motivated during the winter months I know for me I typically have a ton of magazines on top of mailers that come in and do not properly discard the packaging.  when they come to our home however it’s never too late to create a Spring cleaning system below I’m sharing some of my favorite tips these are tips that I've used on a regular basis and I found some really work for me and my family. I know as a mom sometimes it's like "when am I going to get the time to clean" it is really like you have to squeeze everything in at times however rest a sure that you may have big plans to spring clean your home this spring and it’s actually possible. All you have to do is implement these few tips to assist you with accomplishing your spring cleaning goals.

Spring Cleaning Tips

Start off Small
One of the misconceptions with spring cleaning is that you have to take care of everything all at once, it is so important to just start off small should you start in your bedroom or you can start off in your garage, whatever makes the most sense to you what brings you the most peace as far as cleaning goes do you step in a room in your home and you’re like oh my gosh is I instantly stressing you out. If that room was clean wouldn’t provide you with a lot more clarity, and a lot less stress? Take a step back to walk to your home if you figure out which room you want to start with first is it your garage is it your attic is it just a room is it just a section in a room? Figure out what the plan is first because a lot of times when you find yourself overwhelmed nothing gets accomplished you step away from the space that you were working on one and never return back to work I’ll pour is why would you want to work on something that brings you a lot of stress however when you start off with baby steps it makes such a huge difference when I was cleaning out my garage I started with different sections I thought it with different bins in the garage I did and just tackle the entire garage at once I made sure that I took out time each week to accomplish a section.


Create a Schedule 
We are all busy is so important to create a schedule I know for me the weekends are super busy and I prefer to actually get stuff done during the week if possible my suggestion would be to create a timer and set a time maybe starting off within a small space. Once you're done decluttering and spring cleaning the space. Once you’re done with the hour you can go back to your regular routines because of course like most people do not enjoy cleaning. So by having the timer set and schedule an actual time it allows you do not necessarily have to spend all day on a project you can easily start off within our in increase that time throughout the month maybe you designate an hour each Saturday to cleaning out a different section in your home. The goal is to create a schedule, you can add how many blocks to your cleaning schedule. Whether it is all day or an hour.


Know your Wants from Needs
It’s so important to know your wants from your needs first start off when you go shopping prior to purchasing something do you need it doesn’t make sense to purchase that a lot of times before making a big purchase I wait 24 hours before I actually make the purchase because with this allows me to do is actually focus on what I’m purchasing, and why I'm purchasing this item. For instance, you can find an amazing deal in the wintertime for a patio set. However, do you a way to get the item delivered to your home? Where will you store it? All of these things come in to play when making a purchase. When I purchase items for my home. I want to make sure it's an actual need for my home.  Trust me I find so many amazing deals on his various stuff from items such as beauty to even furniture however I know bringing that stuff into my home would only cause more stress and would not allow my house to be functional. So prior to purchasing an item  And bringing it into your home during the wintertime, think about your purchase before you make it. Would you have a hard time storing the product or the item during the winter months figure out what works for you and learn your wants from your needs. Therefore you’re not going to accumulate a whole bunch a clutter this spring and throughout the year.


Get Help
There are plenty of people who offer spring cleaning services, of course, do your due diligence in only go with someone that you’re comfortable with, however, Include your family and maybe even your Bestie. Perhaps each week you alternate homes and clean each other home and make it into like a girl's day. It really the perfect way to really take the stress and burden off of spring cleaning. You assign everyone a different task and alternate homes.

I love sharing with you guys my plans each season. Though, some of those plans don’t go as scheduled sometimes. It’s nice to have a general list of stuff to look forward to and plan.
This is my second year creating a Spring Bucket List and I’m super excited about this. Our winter this year was pretty hectic.
For those who read my blog. You know that I am not a fan of snow from. Yes, I love what it does for the environment. However, having to drive through a blizzard is just not fun to me.
So I really look forward to the spring/summer months to really get out there and take in the beauties of the season.

Vacation

I can’t be the only one who would love a vacation. Though, I’m trying to tackle my student loan debt. I’m excited about the possibility. I don’t have a destination in mind, however, it’s nice to dream.

Beach Trip

I know it’s a little too cold for my bold to go in the beach water. However, We have Hampton beach in New Hampshire and it’s just so gorgeous. I would love to make a family trip or date night out of it.

Spring Photo Shoot

I’ve had the same bio picture for a couple of years now and I’m so ready for an updated gorgeous photo of myself. I love the idea of changing my Bio photos at least once a year and would love to make this an annual routine.

Day Trip

One of my favorite places to visit for a day trip to New York. What I do love about living in Connecticut is the convenience of living so close to New York. I don’t have a day in mind or if I will take a solo, family or date trip. It would be nice to see a Broadway show and go out to eat.

Bake

I know this may sound weird. However, I’ve never baked a homemade carrot cake and carrot cake has to be one of my favorite cakes. It’s super moist and the frosting is divine. I would love to find a decadent healthy version.

Me Time

If you haven’t noticed this post so far has been all about me. I would love to take myself out to lunch and go on at the Rose garden or even visit the butterfly museum. You know, take some time and unplug. Smell the roses and enjoy a bite to eat.

DSLR Camera

Several years ago I purchased my I first DSLR camera. This camera has become my everyday and travel camera. Last year while on spring break. I took my camera with me to the Bahamas. My iPhone could not capture the beauty of a lot of the same pictures I took.
I took my Spring Break trip to Mexico this year. My baby was with me too and I was able to capture beautiful pictures. I love that I'm able to capture beautiful pictures and video without all of the hassle of a cell phone.
