Easter Dessert Ideas

Growing up, my mom would always cook on Easter. We would typically have ham, greens candied yams, baked mac and cheese and of course some yummy desserts. I would love to help my mom in the kitchen. It was so much fun and of course, I use to be able to be her little taste tester and this was back in the day when we actually ate cake batter. As a kid. Having cake batter was like winning an award. My mom didn't use silicone spatulas so there was always plenty of cake batter left in the bowl. Not that I'm older I look forward to baking for my family. I typically will always make a semi-homemade upside pineapple cake. It has become my go recipe in the past. It was super easy to make and didn't require frosting and I also used to slice the cake for faster serving for my guest. Now, my new favorite has been Coconut Blender Cake. It's super fast to make and the frosting is minimal. I typically always make the two now because they don't require much time. Below, I'm sharing some of my favorites desserts to make for Easter.

  17. I don't usually do any baking for Easter, but my Italian MIL makes Easter bread every year. The bread dough is made into a doll or wreath and she adds one hard boiled egg (colored, of course) on top.
