My Mommy Style Monday: Thrifted Skirt

by - 3/18/2019 12:00:00 AM

Happy Monday! It feels good to be able to do an outfit post. It's super hard for me to do them during the colder months, so it's something that I look forward to doing during the warmer months and even early spring. When I was putting this look together I realized how It so important to shop your closet prior to going out and purchasing items new. Trust me, I know, it's super easy to feel like you have nothing to wear. However, go on Pinterest or even do a quick google search. I had this skirt on hand and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to fit it due to my weight loss journey. I was so happy when I did. I love the turtleneck and skirt look, and I was really pleased with how this look came together. Yes, I could have easily ordered an item, and yes something you do just need those staple items. However, I knew that I did have items on hand, I just had to take a moment to look in my closet and put a look together.

Do you shop your closet first?

  3. I love this outfit! You look fabulous in it. I normally wear the same dang thing all year long: jeans and a t-shirt, which turns to a hoodie or sweater when I'm cold.
