ReplyDeleteThe pie pictured lasted under 24 hours, LOL. Red velvet is one of my favorite cakes! I make red velvet cake from scratch. I can imagine how your Granny's taste!

Let me know how the pie comes out!
I will give your recipe a try for sure!! My daughters loved my Nana's sweet potato pie and she passed away in July. I never cared for them, so I didn't learn to make hers. I think this will make them happy! My go-to dessert is my pineapple cheesecake or pumpkin cupcakes with a maple cream cheese frosting.
ReplyDeleteI just so happen to have a few taters and I can make a crust from scratch. Thanks for the inspiration ... I made your chewy snicker doodle cookies. Family loved them.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE sweet potato pie! Yum!
