Thrifty Finds!
Sunday, I decided to go to my local Goodwill. To be honest I really was not motivated to go to this particular Goodwill. We have two that I frequently visit and the one I went to had nothing the last time I visited. I went back and forth with myself about going. I decided to call the store to see if they were open. When I called, the young lady I spoke with told me the store hours. I realized the store has been open for an hour now, and all I could think about...did I miss out on any great deals. I rushed to get dress and off to the store I went.
When I first entered the store, I noticed the store was extremely busy. This actually caught me off guard. I have never visited this store on a Sunday (I guess this is their busy day). While heading to the back of the store (this is where they keep most of their larger items) I noticed they had items all over the place. The furniture was stacked on top of each other. I took a couple of trips around the furniture to dig anything that I thought would be something and to make sure I was not messing out on my gems. (Sorry for no pictures of the scenery, it was really busy in the store).
I came across two lovely items...
This item was $ 3.00
I actually saw the item for $ 2.50 first. I pretty much had to dig for these two items :). It was worth it! My local Goodwill had 50% off any yellow tag item. Both of these items had yellow tags. They had this chair for $5.00 bucks very similar to the one Kristy Swain did at Hyphen Interiors. I was not sure if the chair would be able to fit the chair into my car. I have to constantly remind myself that I do not own a truck.
Stay tuned for the reveal!
