Budget
It’s so important to set a budget for appliances and stick to it. For example, it’s so easy to turn a $1k budget into a $3k budget. You can easily walk into an appliance store and have your mindset on spending $1k for a refrigerator.

Reviews
When you find a refrigerator that you like. Make sure to read the reviews on the products. For example, I recently was in the market to buy a new refrigerator, and the reviews on one particular refrigerator were really consistent. The refrigerator was known for making noises.

Reliable Brand
Make sure that it’s a reliable brand that you’re purchasing. Just because a brand has been around for a while does not mean that it’s reliable. However, this is why it’s so important to do your due diligence.

What Your Expectations
Know what your expectations are, and what you’re looking to get from the product. i.e. More space? Energy-efficient?

Total Price
When shopping for appliances it’s too important to consider the overall price. Most places will offer to ship. However, Nothing else that would normally cost is included in the deal such as the items listed below.

• Price
• Taxes
• Shipping
• Hallaway (if needed)
• Setup (if needed)
• Warranty

Impulse Buying
It’s so important not to buy appliances on impulse, sleep on the offer. Think about the pros and cons of purchasing the item. Is it more so of a need or a want?
