My Gain Journey Part: One

by - 6/11/2020 12:00:00 AM

Happy Thursday! Three years ago I embarked on a  weightloss journey. I was 147.8lbs, and I just wanted to change. I’m 5’1 ½ and like most women, I don’t gain weight in all of my favorite areas. All of my weight tends to go to my stomach, back, and face. I’m 100% fine with having a full face, and I’ve always been a pretty solid girl my entire life. However, looking like I’m expecting, and having people ask if I was pregnant was just too much. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED my shape prior to my weight loss journey. I didn't even mind the backfat. The stomach, I could have done away with though.

From day one of surpassing my weight loss goal which was early fall of 2017. Prior to my weight loss goal I knew the body goal I wanted would require cosmetic surgery just from my genetics. My mom tends to gain weight in her stomach as well. I’ve learned so much over these last three years, and I actually love the foods in which I eat and my lifestyle change. I plan on continuing to eat clean. Yes, I could just consume a bunch of unhealthy foods to gain weight. However, I would personally prefer to do it the right way. Eating well has been a lifestyle change for me.

What I’m Doing
Last night for the first time in a long time I downloaded and logged into the MyFitnessPal App. I created my goal and I’m pretty much on a 2K calorie diet. For my weight loss journey, I was on a 1,200 calorie diet. I plan to log my meals to ensure that I’m meeting my daily goals.

  8. Oh I love avocado toast. Sometimes just changing a few things will change your body. Mine was coffee, diet soda and artificial sugar.
