If you follow me on Snapchat I made some Guacamole on a whim. At this point, I do not measure the ingredients when making this dish. I even added some cherry tomatoes and everything came out delish. Did I mention that I paired this with homemade chips. (Currently drooling writing this post) I did not add peppers this time around because I did not have any on-hand.
Anywho, Do you add a special ingredient to your guacamole?
Recipe
What you'll need via (serves 2-4 people)
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt. (I used sea salt)
1 Tbsp of fresh lime juice. ( I used bottled lime juice )
1/4 cup of minced red onion. (you can use less as well)
2 tablespoons cilantro (leaves), finely chopped.
A dash of freshly black pepper. (I Didn't use it this time around)
(I added sliced cherry tomatoes because I had them on hand)
Steps
- Cut the avocado in cubes in a bowl
- Smash the avocado to the consistency you like
- add lime juice and combine
- Minced the red onion (add to bowl with avocado)
- finely chop cilantro and add to bowl
- Add salt
- Add tomatoes
- Mix everything together
