What I forgot to mention about Michael’s first day of school…
So on Michael's first day of school my four year old nephew was over for a few
days. His last night over, I decided to make brownies to go along with dinner.
I explained to him that the brownies had to cool off. However, he would be able
to have some once they were cooled.
I checked on the brownies several times to see if they were
completely cooled. They weren't!
Well upon Michael coming home from school. I noticed something
was wrong with the brownies. I checked on them and I found this.
I asked my nephew several times if he touched them and he said
NO. I was worried that the dog got to them. (He has sweet tooth.)
My nephew confessed that he ate them, and stated I was
taking too long. (Insert wide eye)
(Ok, so my son 11 and I just didn't get it…when a toddler
wants something. They want it NOW! )
Overall, these brownies came out amazing!!! They were
perfect. Not too moist. Not too hard, just perfect! I followed the directions to
the “T”. I’m guessing they were so good that I could not find a trace of them
on my nephews hands.

They were so good that I made another batch the next day. (Let’s
call this my dump batch. Whatever treats I had at home went into this batch. )
Also, the first batch I made was with walnuts. I used this recipe as my base.
My Sweet Mercy baking mix taste amazing by itself!! Just
follow the directions below!
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1-1/4 cup Sweet Mercy Chocolate Baking Mix
Directions
Step 1
Combine all ingredients; pour into a sprayed 8x8 pan. Bake
at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out with moist
crumbs.
