Stuffed Strawberries with Caramel Sauce

OK, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet... One of my favorite treats to make is stuffed strawberries. I usually only make them topped with whipped cream. However, over the weekend I had the bright idea to stuff them with caramel sauce yummy.  I went to two different stores and both of them were out of strawberries the nerve well... my wonderful husband called me today and surprised me with  some strawberries...

Ingredients:

Strawberries
Whipped cream (homemade or store brought)
Caramel sauce (homemade or store brought)

Directions:

  1. Cut the tops off of the strawberries and stand upright on the cut side. Make two cuts to the strawberry the shape of an "X"  midway through the strawberry.
  2. Separate the petal of the strawberry with your fingers (enough to add the filling)
  3. Use a spoon and, pour caramel sauce into each strawberry.

Different options:

Chocolate Syrup
Kraft Philadelphia Ready to Eat Cheesecake Filling

Stuffed strawberries make the perfect treat for:
Tea party
Baby shower
Bridal Shower
Holiday Party
Adult Birthday Party
Valentine Day
Girls night

  1. I will have to admire these from a distance. I am allergic to strawberries (deep sigh). I love that you came up with a sweet treat that satisfies the palette and wont break the bank.

This is definitely a treat that will not break the bank, especially when they are in season.
