Price Matching!?

Hello!

I hope you guys are having a fabulous Wednesday! Can you believe it????? eight days left until Thanksgiving!
Well with holiday shopping fast apporaching... I wanted to know if you guys price match? Over the weekend I price matched my first purchase!!!! (go me!) hip2save posted a wonderful deal on the operation game. I found out about the deal on Monday and actually did not get a chance to go to the store until Saturday. I walked in the store and went to the toy section. They only had one game left on the shelf. I was actually happy with getting one $15.09 toy for a $1.00 (yes, one dollar) I asked the nice person at the store  if he could check and see if they have anymore in stock in the back. The system showed that they had a lot of the operation games in stock... so I waited.... and waited and finally got a couple more. I had the ad with me and at first I went in the regular check out line and then I went to the customer service area. I was so happy going home to show hubby the great deal I scored!


 For those of you that do not know what price matching is... I'll give you my version...


When a store states “We’ll beat any advertised price!” "We guarantee the lowest prices!” “We’ll match any price or give you a discount if you find the same item for less at another store.” This is called price matching, when one retail outlet offers to sell something for the same price you’d purchase it for somewhere else. Walmart is currently offering to match the price of another store. However, putting the difference on a gift card. It varies by store...
Most stores require that you bring a copy of the ad from the news paper (not anything printed) 
Price matching only works for items that are the same For instance, if you’re buying a toy, it has to be exactly the same toy type in order to get the store to price match.

If someone has a "Just Dance kids" for a lower price and you attempt to match it with a "Just Dance 3", you won’t get a lower price.

    Yes, I price match most of the time, but need to more often! Great score on the game! Woo Hoo! I love unexpected deals :)
