5 Things I’m Proud of January
This post is super late. However, I really enjoy sharing what I’m proud of myself for, it’s so easy in life to neglect the small wins in life. However, it’s really the small wins that contribute to huge accomplishments. Below, I’m sharing 5 Things I’m proud of in January.
5 Things I’m Proud of January
Refinanced
I purchased my home right before the market crashed in 2008. Like many of people, my home value plummeted and I was devastated... I finally started the process of refinancing my home, and I’m really proud of myself.
Date Myself
Due to current circumstances, the monthly dates that I started a few years ago stopped. It was really nice to take myself out on a date. Especially, during my birthday month.
Garden
I picked up a few things to start my garden, and I’m super excited about growing so many new items this year.
Journaling
I still have been going strong with my journal. Writing is just so therapeutic for me. It’s such a great way to clear my mind and really process my day.
Slept In
I unapologetically slept in, I have to be honest. At times I still feel guilty about sleeping in. I typically think about all of the things I could be doing around the house. But it’s such a nice reward to be able to sleep in.

It looks like you've had a productive January. Sleeping in is the best. I make sure I do it Fridays and Saturdays!
ReplyDeleteThere is no substitute for a good nights rest. February is here and it will not be long before we get warm garden weather.
ReplyDeleteOmg I love the idea of taking yourself out on a date! That's super cute and we all deserve it! I am going to take myself on a date to the spa tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteIt's sounds like you are having a great year so far! I love the idea of dating yourself and contracts on the refi!
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't feel bad about sleeping in. It's your body telling you it needs rest. I wish I could sleep in more often, the kids don't help there.
ReplyDeleteRight on! I just love gardening, and I'm getting ready to start seeds. I live in the North, so we don't get to put things out in the garden until late May.
ReplyDeleteWow! I am so glad you had a wonderful and fruitful January! Those are really great things to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteThose things are really something to be proud of. Good luck for the rest of the months.
