7+ Last-Minute Thanksgiving Dessert Ideas

by - 11/21/2018 12:00:00 AM

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I'm super excited about the start of the holiday season. I wish you guys could really see how excited I am. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time with family. I can remember watching the Macy Day parade on TV, and lots of football with family while waiting for dinner to be finished and also looking through the Black Friday sales ads. My aunt would always pick up a newspaper or have one on hand. It was so nice to look at all of the wonderful deals that were about to start... Though I'm not hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year, I always cook Thanksgiving for my family, and I always make sure to make plenty of desserts. This year, I did some last-minute shopping at Costco and picked up a huge bag of sweet potatoes. With that being said, please don't be surprised if you see a few sweet potato recipes on the blog, LOL. The bag I have is huge, I've never purchased so many sweet potatoes at once before. So this should be very interesting to say the lease. Anywho, I'm sharing some of my favorite last-minute desserts to make for Thanksgiving. One of my all-time favorites is the Coconut Blender Cake. It's super easy to make and is a crowd-pleaser. This post has two parts of recipes. One section includes recipes that you can pretty much make on a whim, and the other recipes require more ingredients and a little more time. I will most likely make the coconut cake to bring to my family's house. I'm still finalizing my at-home dessert menu. This is also the perfect opportunity for me to try new desserts as well. I'll keep you guys posted!
