My NYC Weekend Recap: Finding Starbucks
This past weekend I spent the weekend with the Mister and his family in Brooklyn. This was my first time staying in Brooklyn overnight. Growing up my best friend had family in Queens, and we would also visit and stay the night often throughout the year. I used to love visiting, exploring the area. I remember taking the bus to Jamaica Avenue and visiting the Colosseum It was so much fun, plus, I’ve always loved shopping so it was such much fun finding deals and exploring.
We arrived late Friday night visited his cousin's restaurant. We did little exploring prior to going to bed. Saturday morning I woke up and decided to explore on my own. I packed my umbrella because I knew it was supposed to rain. Upon stepping outside it started to drizzle, once I walked about a half mile down it really started to pour. I was so happy that I went back for my umbrella. I used my google maps and decided to find the nearest Starbucks which was about 1.6 miles from my current location. I walked, walked and walked and of course captured some pretty cool street art. My Google Maps showed that I reached my location and to surprise I couldn’t find a Starbucks in sight. I decided to walk to the Dollar Tree around the corner. Because of course, I stop for Thrift Stores and Dollar Trees while out and about. Upon going around in a circle. I started the route back to Starbucks. Just when I was going to ask someone where the Starbucks was located at, to my surprise I was able to find it on my own. I was so impressed with the size of this location. This is one of the largest Starbucks that I’ve been inside. This location even had a conference room. Most of the Starbucks that I stumbled upon while in New York did not even have any seating. Thankful for finding this location and being able to enjoy my frappuccino. Over the weekend, we to my cousin's family house for dinner that Saturday night. That Sunday afternoon we all had brunch and headed back home afterward.
Anywho, Have you did any exploring lately?
