Hello and I hope you are having a fabulous day so far! Guess what? Spring will be officially here Tuesday March 20th. YAY! Now it’s time for me to make sure that I have my favorite cleaning product fully stocked in my home, and it is also officially time to clean out your house and garage. Yes, include the basement and attic too. Okay, any area in your home that needs a little attention. I know some of you do not wait until spring to actually do “Spring Cleaning” (You can enter a chance to win $5,000). However, living in New England makes it a little harder to go and clean the garage or attic during those freezing cold winter days. I know there are also people that have been telling themselves “oh next spring we will clean the house”. Well, next spring is almost here and now is the time to do it (You will Thank me later). I will suggest if you do not want to spend those beautiful spring days in the house cleaning, please start early (and daily), and pick up a bottle of Pin-Sol. Pin-Sol is truly a staple in my home. To this day, Pin-Sol is the only cleaning product my family uses... I usually clean around our house on daily/ monthly bases. Only daily bases I clean/disinfect are kitchen and bathroom, and I usually will wipe down all of the walls/molding, window seals, and blinds etc on a monthly basis. I will say that all homes are different. The best way to determine when your home should be cleaned is to compile a list of everything that has to be cleaned in your home. The next step is to break the list down into categories. For example: daily, weekly, monthly and “spring cleaning” categories. By having a compiled list you now have a cleaning schedule which would make the entire process less stressful and less time consuming. I know you guys may be thinking “Mrs. Delightful makes it sound so easy” Well, it is! Once you have your own cleaning habit, it will come naturally. At first it was trial and error for me, and quite frankly. I do not want to spend all of my spring weekends cleaning when I could have been using some of the 12 degree weekends. Now for the cleaning Diva’s, you can head over to Pine-Sol’s Facebook Page and “LIKE” them, and also learn how you can learn how you can enter and chance to win $5,000.
