Chili Recipe (My First Time Making Chili)

Ingredients:
1 can of kidney beans ( I used the goya brand)
3 lb. ground turkey meat
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup finely chopped onion
8 oz. tomato sauce (I used goya)
2 cups of water
3 Tablespoons chili powder
2 Tablespoons cumin, ground
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan brown 3 lbs of meat, drain the fat.
2. Add the garlic and onion, cook and stir until tender.
3. Combine tomato sauce, water, chili powder, cumin, paprika, sugar, cocoa, hot sauce and kidney beans. Mix well.
5. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer, covered , for 2 hours.
6. Garnish with shredded cheese

ReplyDeleteI love chili I like mine not too thin and not too thick. When you can hit it in the middle you have done well. That's just me but, you chili looks really good.
