Vegetable Garden Update: June
Gardening has really been interesting. I’ve tried so many new fruits and veggies. A lot of them I’ve grown from seed. Which is such a wonderful experience. Today, I’m sharing my June garden update.
Bolted/Flowering
My arugula and Bok choy bolted, and started to flower. I’m not sure how I forgot that some plants actually reseed on their own. Unfortunately, a animal disturbed my Bok choy plant, and it’s no longer flowering. I’m still waiting on my arugula plant.
Avocado Plant
I attempted to grow an avocado from plant and an animal ran off with the seed. I decided to try with multiple seeds. This time around.
Lemon Seeds
I planted several lemon seeds in June and they sprouted. Unfortunately, I had an animal that decided to play in the soil. I’m haven’t had one seed that actually turned into a plant.
Tomato Plants
My tomato plants are finally growing tomatoes. I currently have three variety of tomato plants in my garden. I also started some plants from seeds as well.
Random
I planted some random seeds that I had on hand, a lot of them never sprouted.
Do you have a garden? How is it doing?
