BlogHer19 Food Recap Brooklyn NYC

by - 5/16/2019 12:00:00 AM

I attended Blogher19 Food for the first time, and I was uber excited. You see, I never attended a niche specific blogger conference. I’m not sure when the first BlogHer Food originated. However, this has always been a conference that was on my “wish list”  I was also really excited that the event was held in New York and I was able to attend. I commuted to New York around 5:30pm. I reached New York, parked my car, and commuted and walked to the event location.

Location
BlogHer Food was held at the Berg’n in Brooklyn. This event offered indoor and outdoor spaces which I loved.

Food
Food was provided throughout the event. Dunkin Donuts hosted breakfast and coffee and tea throughout the event. For this being a blogger food, snacks, and beverages were plentiful throughout the day. With a networking party with appetizers and cocktails concluding the event.

Speakers
This was my first time attending a BlogHer event with this setup and layout. Throughout the event, we heard from a powerhouse of speakers and panelist with a FAQ at the end of each panel.

Overall
BlogHer’19 Food was a great experience. I connected with so many amazing people. The information I learned was invaluable. I love the setup. It was nice to have everything in one room.

  13. Your daily calorie deficit is the number The Favorite Food Diet Review of calories you can eat each day or average throughout the week and stay the same weight. You can safely reduce your intake of calories by about 15 to 30 percent without your body switching on it's natural starvation-survival mode. A pound of fat equals around 3500 calories, reducing your intake by 500 calories a day should have you dropping a pound a week safely without becoming irritable and fatigued. If you regularly consume energy drinks or soda, simply drinking water instead of those sugar laden beverages could have you losing a couple pounds each month.

Remember there are a lot of variables involved in calculating exactly how many calories you should be getting to lose weight. I suggest you start by calculating your daily calorie deficit and staying at that level for at least a couple weeks before putting on the squeeze. If you are the same weight after a couple weeks, then begin reducing your calories in order to lose weight.
