Mozzarella, Basil, and Tomato Sandwich

Now that summer is officially here. I'm always looking for the best summer-fresh recipes to make especially fresh mozzarella recipes. Let's not forget easy recipes! With longer warmer days. I want to spend more time enjoying my family. I love being able to utilize the fresh veggies that I harvest and that are in season at my local grocery store and/or farmers market. One of my favorite old fateful recipes to make is a mozzarella, tomato and basil sandwich. This recipe is super yummy. I love that you can pretty much do all of the prep work in advance or on a whim. When making this sandwich, I prefer to actually use French baguette bread. What I love about this bread is that you can also control your portion sizes. You could even opt to make an open sandwich which is cutting the bread at an angle and layering all of the ingredients on top of the French baguette bread. I love doing this if I'm having guest over or want to be a little more fancy with my presentation for myself. With this sandwich, the main star ingredient is Stella® fresh mozzarella cheese which is really important. I love using the Stella Mozzarella. It really does take this sandwich to a whole different level for a truly gourmet experience. The cheese is so fresh and it melts really well if you decide to warm your sandwich up. I tend to warm mines up in the toaster oven or on the grill. It's so yummy either way. The Stella Mozzarella cheese is also amazing with some of my favorite summer cheese recipes like Watermelon Salad, Pesto & Mozzarella Sandwich, and grilled flatbread.
