Semi-Homemade Nonalcoholic Bellini

by - 5/01/2018 12:00:00 AM

Last year around this time. My sister called me after having brunch and she raved about having a peach, Bellini. She was in the process of hosting her first event at her new home and she wanted that to be the signature drink of the day. Prior to leaving for her house, she told me what to pick up from the store and as soon as I arrived at her home. The mix drinks magic started to happen. I'm all for fruity drinks. Let's actually take a moment to “cheers to fruity drinks and warmer weather” what I did notice is that we had no other alternatives for someone who didn't want an alcoholic beverage. The weather is warming up in Connecticut and the invites will soon follow. On a whim, I decided to create a semi-homemade nonalcoholic Bellini.  Let me tell you that this drink is AMAZING! Perfect for brunch with the kiddos. Diet friendly, no added sugar and is perfect to have on a whim or to make at your next event.

Recipe

serves 2
Ingredients

  • 1 bottle sparkling water
  • 1 WholeFruit fruit bar (I had mango in this pic)
  • Mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. Unwrap the fruit bar and divide the bar into two champagne flutes (you can cut into 4 sections) half of the bar for each glass
  2. Add the bar to the bottom of the glasses (don't allow melting too much)
  3. pour your desired amount on top of the fruit bar
  4. Mix with a spoon, garnish with mint and serve!
