Menu Plan Monday: Week of April 23, 2018
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Last week I attended two blogger events. I can't wait to share the recap with you guys. One of the events was the movie premiere for I Feel Pretty. I love everything about this movie. If you haven't seen the movie yet go! I also attended a STEM Bloggers and Parents Summit in my state. It was so nice to learn about the various ways STEM is incorporated into our lives on a daily basis and the resources that are out there. I plan on sharing additional information about both events so check out my blog later this week.
This week our menu is going to be the norm. I really haven't tried any new recipes for the family. I did make a pretty amazing spaghetti which Michael loved. He's such a pretty eater. However, he told me that he loved the spaghetti. We had about half a cup of spaghetti sauce which wouldn't be enough for dinner. I had crushed tomatoes on hand and added seasonings and voila! The perfect spaghetti.
What's on the menu this week?

ReplyDeleteUgh, meal plan. I should do this since I hate cooking. I'm headed to the grocery store in a bit so I need to make a list. Your meals sound yummy!
I love a plate of homemade ziti, you can't go wrong with all that cheese. And I do love garlic bread.
ReplyDeleteLoving your meal plan for this week especially the weekend. *smile* We are having leftover enchilada casserole today. One of my favorite leftover dishes and I'll probably "roast" some corn in the microwave with it. Easy breezy.
ReplyDeleteYum. I could go for some major comfort food today. It is cold and raining. I think chicken and rice sounds great.

ReplyDeleteFriday's meal crockpot Chicken & stuffing sounds like a perfect wau to kick off the weekend. I love make crockpot meals and I make a bunch when I go on shift since they are so easy to do and let cook all day while we work.
ReplyDeleteI was just talking about meal planning to hubby. While we haven't settled and decided yet, this is refreshing and will definitely share this post.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I need to start doing, planning ahead. I bet it would save me a lot of frustration.
ReplyDeleteI really need to be better about planning a menu. I feel like I am going to the grocery store constantly, and it would help if I planned a little better! Love your choices for this weel.
ReplyDeleteIn my family, menu planning is a shared task. We all pitch in our ideas for meals. We have a "first choice" and add a "if too tired to cook.." meal suggestion beside it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's such an awesome menu for the week. I haven't had the time to see the movie but I sure would love to. I've heard so much about it. I love that people are promoting STEM learning, is so important.
