I Feel Pretty Movie: My Thoughts

by - 4/25/2018 12:00:00 AM

Last week I attended the Premier of I Feel Pretty. Honestly, when I was invited to the event I didn't know what to expect. I'm one of those people who watch movies based on the cast. Though, I'm a fan of Amy Schumer. At the moment of finding out about the premiere, I couldn't put the name to the face. I also didn't watch the trailer. Nowadays there are very little surprises, it was nice to go to the movies and not have an aha moment to a part that I saw on the trailer. Plus, I feel that sometimes the trailer gives too much away. However, I wanted to share with you guys some key points from this movie and yes I cried and yes it's a must-see!

  • No matter how many times someone tells you, you're perfect. You can to actually feel that way towards yourself.
  • Self-love is so important
  • Never assume that you know how it feels to be in the same position as someone. No matter how pretty you think they are.
  • People will love you for you and not what's just trending
  • Confidence is KING
  • Everyone has their own struggles
  • No one is perfect

Have you seen the movie I Feel Pretty? Do you plan on going to see it?

  14. I think I will like this movie. It will be a big confidence boost for me. I remember years ago someone at work told me, "You should always be perfect, like me." That hit a bad nerve in me which made me respond, "Excuse me. nobody is perfect! Only God is perfect and you are not God."
