Tips for Drinking More Water



I wasn't always the person that drank water ever day. I thought water with lemon was disgusting. I actually preferred soda. Cola Champagne, Pineapple, and strawberry were my favorites. Let's not forget about a nice cold Pepsi. Well, those days are far behind me now. Six years ago I gave up soda. Trust me, it wasn't the easiest task at all. However, I was determined to stop drinking soda for my own personal reasons. I'm asked all the time how I stopped drinking soda cold turkey. I wanted to share with you a couple of things that worked for me.

Drink Bottled water
Honestly, I think it's a mindset. When I first started off drinking water I would purchase cases of bottled water. Trust, I noticed that I would consume so much water that way. I also notice that my son tends to drink more water when it's bottled too.

Add fruit
When I first started drinking water and cutting out soda. I honestly preferred plan water of my favorite brand. Now, I add lemon or berries on occasion. It's nice to switch it up. Plus, if you're trying to lose weight. Try this recipe.

Cute Water Bottle

This year my goal was to stop drinking so much bottled water. I still drink bottled water just the gallon version now. What has been working for me is purchasing a cute water bottle. I purchased this one here. I Also, reuse my VOSS glass water bottles too.
