Meatball Bombs

The holidays are amongst us, and whether you're looking for something to make for your family to add a little twist to your dinner routine or simply something to bring to your next gathering. This recipe is super easy to make and is great for your pickets eater. 


Recipe 

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups warmed RAGÚ® Old World Style Traditional Sauce 
  • 12 frozen bread dough dinner rolls
  • 1 (12oz) package fully cooked Italian meatballs, thawed 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese 
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup parsley 

Instructions 

  1. Allow the dough to stand at room temperature until softened, 25-30 minutes.
  2. Cut each roll in half. 
  3. Stretch dough and add a pinch of mozzarella cheese, and 1 tsp RAGÚ® Old World Style Traditional Sauce.
  4. Wrap each portion around a meatball, enclosing the meatball completely; pinch dough firmly to seal. 
  5. Place lined baking sheets, seam 
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°. 
  7. Bake buns until golden brown, 12-15 minutes. Brush tops with oil; sprinkle with cheese and parsley. 
  8. Dip meatball balls into warmed sauce and enjoy!
You can also opt to not add the sauce, and simply use the sauce for dipping.
