My Top 5 Favorite Books

Happy National Book Lovers Day! For some reason or another, I’m never on task with these special days. I typically notice them towards the end of the day or the next day. With that being said, books are something that is near and dear to my heart.  Last year I challenged myself to get back into the habit of reading. I downloaded the Libby app and I was able to really explore and learn about some amazing books that I’ve never heard of before. Below, I’m sharing my top five favorite books.

My Top 5 Favorite Books

The Secret

I’m not sure how I stumbled upon The Secret however, it’s a book that I’ve read more times than I can remember. This book discusses how your thoughts become things, and speaking things into existence.

Becoming

Michelle Obama is just one of my favorite people. I’m happy that I took the time to really explore this book. It really gave me insight into what her life was like growing up, and one day marrying the president. Her drive in life is just so inspiring. I still chuckle at how her mom used to go out in public and have some type of normalcy to her life. I really can’t imagine what life was life for her. It was so refreshing to get some type of insight.

Girl, Wash Your Face

This book is truly inspiring especially as an entrepreneur. It’s so nice to be able to relate with someone that may have had similar issues as a mom and business owner.

Educated

I’m not sure how I stumbled upon this book. I think it was due to the book being popular. What I will say is it’s so important to never judge a book by it’s cover. You never know what path in life someone had to take in order to become successful.

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up

Like most people, I just wanted to get my life together. This cook is really inspiring, and I love her approach to keeping your home “Tidy”.

What’s your favorite book?
