5 Things You Need for a Cruise

As I type this post, I’m currently at the airport returning from my cruise. As my mind is fresh on travel. I thought it would be good to share with you guys 5 Things You Need for a Cruise from a newbies perspective.

Powerstrip
Your room will most likely only have one outlet. Purchase a power strip that suits your needs.

Waterbottle
If you bring your own sodas/beverages or plan on purchasing a drink package. This may not be a priority. However, It was so convenient for me to have a water bottle. The cups that they offer on Carnival cruise are super small, and they’re some type of plastic material.

Sunscreen
Trust me, this is non-negotiable. Just pack it!

First AID Kit
Though we didn’t need any of the items I purchased for our trip. It was so nice to have everything on hand that was tailored to my family's needs.

Two Forms of ID

If you do not have a passport you need an ID and birth certificate

Have you taken a cruise before? Any tips?

  2. I would never have thought of a power strip! That is such a good tip, hands up I don't know how we would cope with just one plug socket.

  3. Honestly, I dont feel like I ever need anything different for a cruise than I do for a hotel stay! They typically have all the same amenities - if not more - which is only another reason why I love cruises! :)

  5. We always travel with a powerstrip and it's so smart to travel with. There is no room big enough for us ALL to plug in our phones AND my son's CPAP machine.

  6. I definitely have to agree with the sunscreen. We went on a cruise recently and it was awesome but you really have to protect your skin while enjoying the activities.

I remember when I went on a cruise. Having a passport made things so much easier. Speaking of passport, I need to renew mine one of these days.
