Yum, what a great menu. I love how you have a non-traditional one. We usually go with traditional. I know there will be turkey, potatoes, yams, deviled eggs...oh man, I"m hungry thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious sounding menu you have! Nothing wrong with not doing it the traditional way at all.
ReplyDeleteYum! Your menu sounds mouthwatering. I love that you go beyond traditional Thanksgiving foods.
ReplyDeleteSweet potato pie sounds super delicious! I always look forward to the desserts at Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThat shrimp stuffing sounds amazing. Please tell me you have a recipe as I need to try that this year.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your unique Thanksgiving menu! Our family's Thanksgiving is pretty much the same year after year, with little tweaks here and there: Authentic Italian raviolis ordered from a restaurant, roasted chicken and rice (this year ordered from a restaurant), salmon, Black Forest Ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, Focaccia bread, homemade baking powdered biscuits, corn bread, a beautiful salad, veggie side dishes, lumpia, tamales, and more! We usually have 6-7 pies, and lots of appetizers. Our guest list is 25+.
ReplyDeleteThe menu sounds perfect! I can't wait to see all the photos of the dishes you make, if you will ever post it.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving either. One of my favorite holidays too. I'm always excited to see what's on the menu. Looks like you have it all planned out.
ReplyDeleteI love non traditional menu options. my husband on the other hand not so much lol. We stick to turkey on Thanksgiving, but he does let me switch it up at Christmas! Kelli A
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious. I love the traditional menu that I've cooked for the last 28 years. I have a dressing recipe that was passed down from my mother and it's a have to have. (Rena)
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful to share your Thanksgiving menu. I am not sure what we're doing for Thanksgiving ,but I hope it involves some delicious food like you shared for your menu.
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving menu looks like sheer perfection! I'm a lady who's all about side dishes and now I am SO craving collard greens.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this menu idea. Great for the family and friends we have stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI have to start working on my Thanksgiving menu. I like seeing what other people are doing and get some ideas. This sounds like a great menu.. definitely going to use some of these items.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely meal! We have two Thanksgivings normally, one with my husband’s family and one with my own. Since my family is vegetarian, we often go with an untraditional menu.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having delicious and wonderful food for this thanksgiving. Yes I too not making whole turkey. But may be breast. And go with some non-traditional recipes.
