4 Immune Boosters for Cold & Flu Season

by - 1/22/2019 12:00:00 AM

Now that we're officially in cold/flu season. What better timing than to share with you products I used to combat common colds. If you've been following me for years, especially on Snap Chat, a couple of times during the fall/winter months I was notorious for getting a cold, and I honestly just got tired of it. I quickly educated myself about products that could assist me with combating cold and flu season. Most of these products I've used for almost two years, and I always try to keep them on hand. I'm big on eating my fruits and veggies, so of course, I have plenty of oranges as well, in addition to drinking my warm lime or lemon water in the mornings, and when I have ginger on hand. I make warm ginger water as well. This year I plan on adding to my list. So make sure you stay tuned to my social media accounts. All of the items, I'm sharing below. I've taken as directed.

4 Immune Boosters for Cold & Flu Season

Kick-Ass Immune
Kick-Ass Immune is a product that I initially purchased for travel. I loved this product because it could be taken without water. They recently changed the packaging (not sure if they changed the formula) and it now has to be mixed with water which I'm a little disappointed about. I will say that this was my favorite out of all of the immune boosters, and it's really fast-acting.

Herb Pharm Daily Immune Builder
Herb Pharm Daily Immune Builder is my second favorite. Love the size of the bottle, you could actually fit it in your pocket if needed.  I typically keep this on hand with me. This has to be mixed with water. However, It's super easy to use, and it works.

Effer-C™ Elderberry Packets
I tried the Effer-C™ Elderberry Packets for the first time last year, and I was hooked. They come in Togo packets which is really handy to have on hand, and they're actually great for immune support and energy. I love the flavor of these packets, and they actually don't take that much time to mix.

Emergen-C
I started using the Emergen-C almost seven years ago. It's great to keep on hand, especially for the cold and flu season. What I love about this product is that you can pretty much find it at any of your favorite stores, and you only have to mix it with water.

Do you take any immune boosters?

  1. I need to try these out. I do not have time to be sick and I hate when others in my family get sick. I do not deal with vomit well.

  10. I do elderberry syrup! So over Christmas, my sons and husband who got the flu shot, got the flu. During that time when I knew they were sick and when I had a seven year old coughing in my face a lot of the time, I would take about 5 teaspoons of the stuff! I felt remnants of being sick shortly after my husband got sick, so I upped the anty on the elderberry and only had one day of fatigue and a slight runny nose! I am now a believer in that stuff!!
