BlogHer18 Health Conference Recap

Last week I had the opportunity to travel to New York to attend the first BlogHer18 Heath Conference. This was my third BlogHer event so I knew it was going to simply AMAZING! Each time that I have to attend a BlogHer event. I return back rejuvenated, inspired, and renewed and ready to pour all that positive energy into my blog. What made this event even better is that it was in January. What better way to start off the new year as a blogger?

BlogHer18 Health Conference Recap

I woke up early Tuesday morning. Unfortunately. I knew New York and Connecticut would be getting snow and I didn’t know how bad the roads were going to be. To add more nerve-racking to the situation. I had a sick child at home and this was my first time driving alone to New York which I was really nervous about. To my surprise schools were delayed. However, the roads didn’t seem too bad which I was really happy about.

I successfully reached the Big Apple and drove to my hotel the James New York. Once I got settled into my hotel room. It was time to head to the Vagisil Spin Class to meet up with some of the other conference attendees. I had the most amazing time at this event. I met so many amazing ladies and the instructor for the Spin Class was phenomenal. She did such an amazing job keeping us motivated throughout the class. Once this event ended, I chatted with some amazing bloggers and business owners and headed back to my hotel to get ready for the Pacira Panel and The Find Your Flow Opening Night Event, 2018 Voices of the Year Honorees and the Networking & Activation Stations.

(Pacira Panel )

I really enjoyed the Pacia Panel. It was great to hear from Various doctors across the world about the various options we have with the opioids epidemic. In addition to helpful tips on how we can use our voice as patients. The panelist was really insightful.

(Opening Party)

The find your flow event was pretty epic! From the speakers to the food, to the atmosphere. The Blogger Team did an amazing job with this event. I love hearing from all of the 2018 Voices of the Year Honorees and I made some pretty connections at the Networking event.

(Breakfast)

Wednesday was full of really helpful classes and amazing keynotes. I always come away from BlogHer conferences with tons of notes and pages of ideas to apply to my own site. This conference has various different learning styles from hands own with the Media Master Class which featured onsite mock interviews. To keynotes, and Straight Talk conversations with speakers gave their own personal stories.

 (Media Master Class)

Along with the Workshops and events. We had several opportunities to network and chat with different brand sponsors at BlogHer18 Health to see various ways they work with bloggers for possible feature collaborations and partnerships.

(Voices of the Year Honoree )

The conference concluded with a very inspiring closing keynote by Arianna Huffington. She did a phenomenal job as a storyteller and with the closing remarks.

I have to also take a moment to Thank the SheKnows BlogHer team. For putting together another such an amazing event. They do such an amazing job of bringing, amazing speakers, bloggers, and brands together. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!
