Quinoa Porridge #Recipe



In the mist of trying to continue to eat healthy. I found this recipe on Youtube. I love adding Quinoa to my vegan burgers especially because it adds so many great nutrients. I opted to add blue berries. However, you can pretty much add any toppings that you would add to an oatmeal.

What I did:

I used a 1/2 cup of clean Quinoa
1 cup of Almond milk
In a sauce pan I added the Quinoa and milk 
I allowed the mixture to come to a boil and once it did I lowered the pot to simmer 
I allowed the mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes
I allowed the pot to cool a little 
Now you can pretty much add what you like
I mixed in two heping teaspoons of brown sugar
a splash of vanilla extract
(mixed well) 
I topped with frozen blue berries that I allowed to thaw
Dusted with cinnamon 
Drizzled honey 

Ta-Da!
