DSLR Anniversary & Ramblings

It is almost my one year anniversary of owning a DSLR.  I must say that I am not disappointed with my purchase. The Mister was really against spending so much on a camera especially when he wasn’t sure if it would benefit our family. The mister now believes that a DSLR is a must have for families who love capturing those special moments (or all moments like me).

For anyone that knows me I am always the one behind the camera and never the one actually in the pictures. Especially with my DSLR, I only allow a few people to touch...Don’t get me wrong, I love my camera so much that I would invest in another  one in a heartbeat. I’ve taken so many quality pictures that I am truly in love with. I have been able to capture moments that I would not have been able to capture otherwise.

I know that my blog never really reflects all of the beautiful pictures I have taken. I’ll be honest and state that I am pretty lazy when it comes to downloading and editing pictures.  For instance, I have wanted to take some “Outfit of the Day” pictures and truly have no excuse since I own a tripod. *sigh*

Long story short I will try and do better!

Do you own a DSLR camera?

Thank You For Stopping By!

  1. I don't have a DSLR camera yet. My sony (which I later found out is close to the same price as a DSLR)did me good for a few years now it is on the fritz. This will be my next purchase.

  2. I have the older version one but I am dying for a 60D or something along those lines. I love my camera and it has become a hobby of mines lately to see the pictures and I actually like the editing part better than taking the actual picture lol.
