Prior to visiting the San Diego Zoo on a whim. I had the opportunity to Visit the Balboa Park which is within walking distance of the zoo (they're pretty much connected. I love everything about this park. Not only is admission free. There is so much to see and do whether you're traveling solo or with your family. I didn't do much research prior to visiting this park. It was really nice to just walk around explore and be in all with all of the beautiful sights. I love that this park has a rose garden too which I wasn't expecting. They had lots of events going on during my visit which was really nice.

I thought it would be a pretty good idea to start working on my photography more. My current favorite lens is the 50mm. I love how it blurs out backgrounds and it is affordable.
