Located at 56 River Rd in Collinsville, Riverside Nursery provided the most picturesque backdrop for this seasonal celebration. The moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted by an incredible display of fall foliage, vibrant pumpkins in every shape and size, and the most stunning autumn florals I've ever seen.

Culinary Delights & Autumn Cocktails

The partnership with Greenhouse Tavern was absolutely genius. Their seasonal bites perfectly complemented the autumn theme – think warm, comforting flavors that made you want to cozy up with a blanket and stay forever. And can we talk about those autumn cocktails? Each sip was like drinking liquid fall, with warm spices and seasonal ingredients that captured the essence of the season perfectly.

 

DIY Magic: Creating My Pumpkin Bouquet

The highlight of the event was definitely the DIY pumpkin bouquet station. I'll be honest – I went in thinking this would be a simple craft activity, but it turned into so much more. The staff at Riverside Nursery guided us through creating these incredible arrangements that were equal parts rustic charm and elegant sophistication.

My creation featured a beautiful white pumpkin as the base, surrounded by deep burgundy chrysanthemums, orange marigolds, and the most gorgeous autumn foliage. The best part? I learned techniques I can use for my own fall decorating at home.

Community & Connection

What struck me most about this event wasn't just the beautiful setting or delicious treats – it was the sense of community. There were families creating memories together, friends catching up over cocktails, and strangers bonding over their shared love of all things autumn.
