Simple Valentine's Day Date Ideas

Like most women, Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. Something about romance being in the air that excites me. For me, it’s all about the little gestures that make a huge impact. Whether you are looking for a simple day and/or what to do on a whim. Below, I’m sharing some of my favorite ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Simple Valentine's Day Date Ideas

Fondue Date
Fondue dates are so much fun. This is something that you can create at home or actually go to a restaurant that has fondue platters.

Spa Day
Whether you're doing an at-home spa day, or booking an appointment at your favorite spa. Going to the spa and having that relaxing feeling can really be the perfect gift for your loved one.

Beer or Wine Tasting
Depending on or where you live. Groupon typically has amazing offers when it comes to beer and wine tasting. Of course, make sure that you read the fine print to make sure that its valid on Valentine's Day. However, this a great opportunity to try new beers and/or wines.

Ice-Skating
Ice skating is such a great experience. You can make the date even more special by making a day trip out of it, and visiting a new ice-skating rink.

A Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger hunts can be so much fun. What I love about this idea is that you create and hide all of the items. This can be done in your home and/or at some of your favorite places.

Museum Date
They are so many amazing museums out there. Take the time to discover a new one! In 2018, I rediscovered my love for museums, and I was able to learn about so many new artists.

A Themed Dinner and/or Movie Night at Home
This is one of the best options if you want to bet the crowds. You can create your very own themed dinner and/or movie date at home. What I love about this idea, especially living in New England, you don't have to worry about the weather, and you can actually make the theme a surprise for your spouse.

How do you enjoy spending Valentine's day?s

  3. I am all for simple. It's too crowded to go out on Valentine's Day. We'll just be ordering pizza and having a movie night. We'll probably rent Joker!

We're staying home this year. My husband and I have already chosen 2 movies to watch. One of his high suspense favorite film and a what he calls a chic flick. I would rather call it a romance-comedy. The menu has been decided too. Looking forward to our Valentine's date at home.
