Hustlers Movie: Girls Night In Movie Night Planning Tips

It's officially girls night in season and what better way to have your girlfriends over for some lite bites and the perfect movie. What I love about a girl's night in, is that it's typically at my house or one of my besties house and it doesn't require too much planning. Our girl's night is typical totally randomly put together followed by a bunch a group text messages. So no worries if you have a day to plan or weeks. Below I'm sharing the best tips for hosting a pretty epic girls night in a movie holiday gathering.
Movie
One of my favorite movies is Hustlers. It’s currently at Walmart and makes the perfect girls night in holiday movie. This movie has so many great twists and turns that will leave you at the edge of your set. Plus, who doesn’t love a good motivational movie to start the New Year off right?!
Location
I love hosting a gathering at my home. However, if you want a change of pace. Start a group chat and see who would be interested in hosting the girl's night in at their home. It’s also a great idea to have the gathering followed by a larger holiday-themed party. Everyone is already there, and/or together, and you can pretty much unwind, and conclude the evening with your gal pals.
Food/Beverages
I love the idea of creating a potluck style event. With a holiday movie theme, it’s super easy. Bring some hot chocolate followed by your favorite beverage, and snacks. It’s really that easy!! I typically ask everyone to bring their favorite snack and I always have popcorn and beverages on hand. During the holidays, I always have guests stopping by on a whim, so I try my best to stay fully stocked with items from my local Walmart.
Remember girls night in is making sure that everyone is having the best time. With everyone being so busy nowadays. It's always really nice to meet up with girlfriends.

ReplyDeleteGirls nights are so much fun! Great time to decompress from all the stress of life. I love going out to dinner with my girlfriends every month. It's definitely a needed thing!

ReplyDeleteI have a special needs child so very rarely get to do things with friends because much of my time is spent on the "special needs" lifestyle. Maybe some day when he's older I can have a girls night again; it would be a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteWe do family movie nights on Friday or Saturday, when all our kids are home. It is always a fun time we all look forward to. I know my husband would give a little frown and say, "Chick Flick," but I am sure his mood will change once the hilarious scenes start.
