Day Date: Broad Brook Brewery Recap
Hey, guys and happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share with you guys a little recap from me in the Misters and me day date trip this past weekend to a local brewery.
I think sometimes being in a relationship you really forget to date your spouse and really show them the importance of really just stepping out of your comfort zone.
I think that sometimes people get really confused and feel that just because you're in the same area or in the same home as that person that you're actually spending quality time with that person and you're being "in the moment" and you're being present. My goal for the end of 2017 as well as 2018 I would like to work one focusing on being present in being in the moment with my spouse.
What I did notice is that I know everybody's relationship is different and everyone's experience and expectations are different but honestly in a relationship it's really easy for it to just get old real quick and I feel like one of the easiest ways to spice up your relationship or just to get the conversation going you know of course you have the everyday conversations about finances and the kids and "how was your day at work" but to really get the conversation going is to step out of your element.
I nor the Mister is a big beer drinker. However, it was nice to step out of our element.
Our conversation was just different that day. We laughed, joked around and had a good time. I plan to incorporate more of these days unplanned. Yes, at first the Mister wasn't really open to the idea if you're wondering. However, he was really happy that he went.
AnyWho I wanted to share with you guys some pictures from our past weekend I would love to know ways that you guys spice up the relationship? Let's keep the Conversation going in the comment section what are some ways that you spice up your relationship?

I totally get where you're coming from when you say just because you live with someone, doesn't mean you're "in the moment" with them. My partner and I live together and we don't really get to spend a whole lot of quality time together.
ReplyDeleteI love visiting brewery's! I went on a brewery tour last month and it was so much fun. Glad you got to have a lovely date with the Mr. :) x
I love to do things like this. Plus it is really important to make these types of dates with the one you love.
ReplyDeleteVisiting Brewery is so much fun and all the more with the person we love. These are some really quiet peaceful moments sometimes we need with out partners.
ReplyDeleteHey girl! What a lovely treat for a couple! Nick and I love visiting breweries, especially when we travel abroad. And we always take the full tour and take our time when we reach the gift shop and the brewery pub! The sample trays are always the best way to try a little bit of everything! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the visit! How cool would it be if we could go on a double date all together? :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you both had a fun time together doing something different and that's great. My husband and I always try to find time for each other even if it's to go out for 10 minutes to see the sunset and we travel a lot together.
