My weekend was really low key. I spent most of my weekend planning and strategizing… For some strange reason, I did not get mimi’s Easter Basket together until the day of Easter. I have no idea what was going on with me. I was really struggling with what to put in his basket at the age of eleven, and at what age would I stop creating Easter baskets for him. Earlier in the week, I wanted to stop at my local Dollar Tree to pick up a couple of items however time got the best of me during the week. I woke up Easter morning in hopes that I would be able to run to Target to pick up a couple of items. (Yes, I’m one of those people that run to Target for everything) To my surprise Target was closed. Instead I ran to Dollar Tree. In the future plan on creating a bin with knick-knacks of things that I can put in an Easter basket for him.
Also, this year I decided not to host Easter Dinner at my
home, I usually try to host an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Which they seem to
really enjoy, however for several reasons, I opted not to.
What age did you stop receiving Easter Basket’s?
