So I know what you're thinking. We've barely entered summer and I'm already discussing sweaters. Trust me, I get it. I live in Connecticut and honestly, our hottest month is July. June is unpredictable and the temps have gone up and done this entire month, my son even asked me to turn on the heat. August, is unpredictable as well. Many times I carry a jacket with me in August. Since the weather is so unpredictable, I love keeping my favorite sweater or cardigan on hand.

• 1 ¾ cups white whole wheat flour 
• ⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce 
• ½ cup of coconut sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 mashed ripe bananas 
• ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
• 1 teaspoon baking soda 
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon of sea salt
• ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 ¾ cups white whole wheat flour 
• melted coconut oil to grease pan with

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had an amazing weekend so far. Almost two weeks ago, Michael broke this collarbone during spring football. So between appointments and pretty much him not being able to do a lot for himself. These last weeks have been pretty hectic. I'm Thankful that he's okay. I feel bad for him though, because he will not be able to participate in some of the summer football camps and training, and that's something that he really looks forward to every year. Especially, since we're not able to do much during the fall and winter months.

On a brighter note, pretty soon we're heading to Florida and Atlanta. This will be my first time visiting Georgia and I'm super excited. I wanted to share what I plan on wearing there. Of course for date night or something.

Anywho, How was your weekend?

• I have 12 hours to listen to my favorite audiobooks or music. 6 hours in earbuds an additional 6 hours in my charging case. 
• I love that I no longer have limitations. I literally have the freedom to do what I love! I was able to go into my garden and listen to an audiobook at the same time. I'm not connected to any wires which are so cool, and something that I'm quickly getting used to.
• The Bluetooth connectivity and single-button volume provide me all of the convenience that I need. The setup was super simple and I've had no issues with connectivity. 
• The gel ear tips allow the earbuds to fit comfortably. Which is perfect especially most days I have the SkullCandy Push True wireless earbuds in my ears for hours at a time. 
• As an extra bonus for me, these are water-resistant. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten caught in the rain during my daily walks, or just sweating during my workout sessions. I love that I no longer have to worry about these issues.

I love the saying “Dress for Success” it's so important when it’s that time of the month to wear clothes that are flattering and make you happy. I have key pieces that I put together that I love to wear during my menstrual cycle. The clothing feels amazing against my skin. It’s super flowy and flattering. I feel amazing wearing those items and it really helps with being in the slump of being in your menstrual cycle.

It’s so important to stay hydrated during your menstrual cycle. It’s so easy to get dehydrated and fatigued due to your body losing more fluids during the summer months. Keep a water bottle on hand, I like to fill my water bottles throughout the day, and at night to ensure that I have my water ready for me in the morning to kickstart my day.
Say No To Bloat
Salt has the tendency for your body to retain water, try to avoid eating foods which lead to bloat. Such as broccoli and carbonated drinks.
Stay Active
During my menstrual cycle, the last thing on my mind is to be active. Trust me, the first day of my cycle I could honestly stay in bed all day. However, living on the east coast, each summer day is so precious to me. Even if I go for a ten-minute walk or even a walk around my neighborhood. I feel so much better after just by staying active.
ReFresh
