Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend Blogher'18 Creators Summit. Since the start of my blogging journey back in September 2011. I've always been fascinated with various ways to improve my blogging skills. Back in August 2012. I attended my first BlogHer in NYC. It was honestly a mind-blowing experience. I connected with so many like-minded women and brands. I believe that event was one of the largest Blogher's I left that Blogher filled with so much drive and inspiration. Last year I attended BlogHer'17 in Orlando. It was such an amazing event and I connected with so many amazing bloggers and brands. I honestly could not wait to attend Blogher'18 and in the fall I learned about Blogher'18 Health. It was the first Blogher Health and with my recent lifestyle change, I felt it was important that I attended this summit. I love everything about BlogHer Health from the speakers to connecting with brands. Attending this event honestly made me beyond excited about attending the Creators Summit. I think I was one of the first people to purchase my ticket. I feel that the SheKnow's team went above and beyond my expectation with this submit. I loved the grab and go theme for Breakfast and lunch. They even had vegan options too which I loved. Plenty of seating at the venue. No long lines for the bathrooms. Awesome brands and I was able to connect with some pretty amazing entrepreneurs, bloggers, and influencers. Below I'm sharing a recap of my amazing day!

One of my favorite foods to eat is peanut butter. Not only is it a healthier alternative snack it's actually good for you. Like most people, I like to enjoy peanut butter on all of my favorite treats from rice cakes to ice cream it's just something about a good quality peanut butter that's better than candy to me. Last year when I embarked on my healthy eating lifestyle. I quickly learned that not all peanut butter is created equal. I'm not sure if I read an article or what. What I do know is that I immediately started to read the ingredients listed on the label, and I was blown away. Most of these brands claim that they're all natural in reality they really aren't. This has made me very selective about the peanut butter in which I consume.

I was recently contacted by Pic's Peanut Butter and had the opportunity to review their 100% peanut butter without salt. What I love about Pic's is that it only has one ingredient. Which is peanut butter! Pic's has an amazing velvety texture. It's super easy to add to your favorite treats. Pic's is one of the few brands that I've tried that are 100% peanuts in each container and it tastes like it! I've learned the perfect taste test with a great peanut butter is the good ole licking of the spoon. If The peanut butter doesn't taste amazing by itself. It's not the right peanut butter for you. Of course, I did the spoon test with Pic's peanut butter, and I was really pleased with my results. Pic's peanut butter was just as yummy topped on my favorites as it was eaten alone. It's super easy to stir in the container which was a major plus for me. I love that it has the perfect spreadable texture, and the quality of the peanut butter is just out of this world. I also love that you can easily purchase Pic's online at Amazon.
About
In 2007 Mr. Pic indulged in a jar of peanut butter that wasn't to his liking. Like most people, he wanted good quality peanut butter that actually had 100% peanuts in it. With many trials and errors, he developed the perfect peanut butter recipe that he made for friends and family and even sold at local farmers markets. In 2008 Mr. Pic sold 48 jars at a local supermarket and took Pic's to the road. Within a year you could buy Pic's in 50 outlets around the country. Then you could find Pic's in most New Zeland supermarket chains and suddenly Pic's was available pretty much anywhere in New Zealand. In the process, Pic's moved from his garage to what had been the laundry room at the old Nelson Abattoir to a brand-new factory in Nelson's Wakatu Estate. In 2014, he opened a new warehouse and office building down the road and a truck to tootle backward and forwards in.Have you tried Pic's nut butter before?

I hope you had an amazing weekend. This was my first weekend all this summer that all of did was relax. Saturday I did not leave out of the house. It rained pretty much all day so that helped to stay put. I'm in the process of switching where I have my home office. I'm so used to having in the same place that it's exciting to change things up. Last week I attended BlogHer'18 Creators Summit. I can't wait to share a recap with you guys. It was so nice to be in the room with so many amazing like-minded individuals. This was my fourth BlogHer event. I attended the conference in 2012, 2017, and the Health Summit this year in January. Last week I also made homemade tomato soup with items from my garden. I'm so pleased with how great it turned out. Especially with this being my first time ever making it at home fresh with roasted tomatoes. It was such a rewarding feeling with making the soup with tomatoes and basil that I harvested myself.
Anywho, how was your weekend?

My weekend in Brooklyn was pretty epic. I love exploring different cities while visiting. Though I've been to New York too many times to count. Each time that I visit really feels like the first time. I'm not sure where my love for street art begun. Maybe it was growing up in an urban environment and always seeing street art through my passing. I typically do not see it too much when I'm home. However, when I do, I love just taking in the moment of every detail. Around this time last year, I was exploring the gorgeous streets of London. It was nice to just get out and see the beautiful masterpieces. I didn't capture too many pictures like I did while exploring London because It rained while I was in route. I did manage to capture a couple of pictures whiles in route back though.
