I've mentioned. I wanted to be more eco friendly. My goal over the last couple of years has to be to give menstrual cups a try. This has taken me years to do. I’m not sure when menstrual cups started to become more popular. However, I just wasn’t ready to give them a try. I had a friend rave about them a couple of years ago. I would walk down the hygiene aisle and honestly for the price. I couldn’t see myself investing in a product that I wasn’t sure if I would use and like. I believe it was close to $30 for one cup. It wasn’t until I read a blog post a couple of years ago, and I learned that Amazon had them for the fraction of the price. I didn’t immediately buy the cup. It probably took me over a year. However, I’m happy that I did, I was able to buy my menstrual cup for under $7 and it actually came with two cups. I’m still new to the menstrual cup lifestyle. However, it has been a game-changer for my cycle.
Now that I think about it. I think it all having during a shopping trip this year...During this whole epidemic, I went shopping online for tampons and I believe my favorite brand was out of stock of the size I wanted. I wasn’t sure If we would go on lockdown again, and honestly, I didn’t want to go without.
This was one of my best decisions, once I got the hang of inserting these cups with the help of YouTube due to having an introverted uterus. The process has been so easy for me. At some point, I will like to try another cup for comparison purposes. For now, this works for me!
If you are thinking of matching the switch. Do your research and read reviews and watch YouTube videos. Know, though I love this cup, I’ve never tried another so I honestly can not give my opinion on them.

Tips

Always sanitize prior to using

Properly clean & store ( I like to use Bronner Brothers to clean it)

Research - Like, Price, Storage bag, and Size

What I learned

Smaller cups are made for the introverted uterus.

If you have an introverted uterus, your insertion may be different.

As a busy mom, it has been so important for my boys and me to stay active during the fall and winter months which can really be brutal living in Connecticut. I have found walking and incorporating physical activity into our daily routines has been really helpful. During my children’s lunch break, we have opted to go for our walks or later in the day if their schedules do not coincide. I’m so happy that we have the perfect pair of sneakers that all of us love.

The Reebok Zig Dynamica has so many great features, including an engineered midsole base. It really feels like you’re walking on air. These sneakers are super lightweight and I love that you do not have to compromise style for comfort with them. The Zig Dynamica's unique outsole expands and contracts like a rubber band which provides a spring-like response. These sneakers have made it so much fun to complete our daily active goal. I’m always asked how I’m able to keep my boys and myself active, and honestly with sneakers like the Reebok Zig Dynamica, it really makes it a breeze. Below, I’m sharing Tips for Staying Active in The Winter.

Tips for Staying Active in The Winter

Time

During the summer months, it would still be light outside around 8 pm. It’s typically dark out now around 4:30 pm which doesn’t leave much time to procrastinate. Know when the sunsets, and schedule the time that works best for your family.

Make It Fun

We count steps in my home, and a reward is given to the most improved. It’s such a great way to encourage your loved ones to get out and be active.

Find A Location

We have plenty of parks and trails near our home. It makes it super easy to stay active. Most recently, we go during times when no one is there which is during our lunch break or an hour or two before the sunsets.

Create an At-Home Gym

Creating an at-home gym is the perfect way to stay active. You can do simple things from plants to lifting weights. It’s a great way to see how creative you can be and get the entire family involved.

Sneakers

Having the perfect pair of sneakers really does make such a huge difference. Especially when they are easily accessible. We were able to get our Reebok Zig Dynamica sneakers at DSW. They have so many great color options! When you love the sneakers you’re wearing, it really does make staying active a lot more fun.
